The Associate Planner(AP), Manufactured Goods is responsible for inventory planning, forecasting, and order placement of internally manufactured product including, but not limited to, new item launch management, maintaining the inventory item file, and managing perpetual inventory focusing on the best use of financial resources.  The AP supports the aggregation & reconciliation process during the planning cycle.   


The AP works closely with the Product Development and Assortment Planning team to provide recommendations for new product forecasts and minimums.  The AP acts as the primary contact to Operations to ensure timely delivery, address capacity constraints, and prioritize demand needs.  The AP acts as the primary contact for inventory availability, out of stocks, and expected replenishment.  The AP works closely with the Distribution Center to prioritize receipt of merchandise and give forecasts for set creation.  


The AP is responsible for the allocation of product from the distribution center to all stores for departments of responsibility.  The AP sets and monitors replenishment parameters by sku by store based on historical analysis and seasonal builds.  The AP is the primary liaison between Retail and Demand Planning to ensure that adequate inventory levels are met at the sku level to meet both sales and display needs.  The AP is responsible for executing seasonal assortment plans in the Replenishment System as established by Assortment Planning.  The AP processes all store to store and store to distribution center transfers based on sales needs and seasonal assortment turnover.  


The AP reviews discontinued inventory level and activates liquidation plans by way of markdowns and allocation to approved location to enhance sell-through.

      Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or the equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred

  • Minimum of five years experience in distribution operations

  • Strong computer skills including WMS and shipping systems, Excel, Google, and order and transfer processing systems

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Lean operations experience a plus
